If I can, I'll echo Dustin here. The details issue is especially a problem because the blog format is the most casual form of lengthy prose most people encounter. It does well to avoid a traditional narrative feel, but it still sounds like someone was in the background with a notebook full of details worrying that all their hard work would go to waste if they didn't squeeze every last drop of back-story in. Most people don't think the facts of their lives are interesting, especially old facts.

I’d like to begin by saying in your review you described Kristen exactly how I hoped she would come across. Your plot description was spot on. You lined everything up so well, it stressed me out a bit to think of all the impending doom to come. (I hadn’t yet pictured it all together).

I’d also like to add: I believe if something failed to come across, it’s the author’s fault, not the reader’s.

The detailed narratives were meant to increase the depth of the character(s), and to allow the reader to climb farther into the mind of Kristen. there were tie-in's to the plot and story, but I admit the connections were thin.

I shall pay more attention in getting that accross.
